Launched in June 2023, the Ambassadors for Christ Safe Steps Coalitions are powerful community partnerships in Houston, Texas and Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Each coalition was created to tackle youth substance use and unlock brighter futures for the next generation.

Our mission is bold and clear: to transform the lives of youth and young adults through Christ-centered support, guidance, and resources that inspire hope, foster transformation, and build a strong foundation for lifelong success.

Together, our coalitions focus on:

Reducing drug use and abuse among youth
Providing employment training and credential opportunities
Offering behavioral and mental health support
Delivering trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
Supporting education, leadership, and positive youth development
Strengthening connections between families, schools, and communities

Each coalition includes 12 vital community sectors, such as youth, parents, schools, businesses, law enforcement, healthcare providers, churches, civic groups, and more. This ensures we always have the voices at the table who can truly make a difference.

We meet quarterly, and every meeting is a chance to reflect, reimagine, and take action. Whether you are a parent, professional, student, or someone who simply cares about the well-being of our youth, we want to hear from you.
